Céline Miécret
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in law from Saint-Louis University in Brussels and a master’s degree in law from the Free University of Brussels, Céline Miécret completed her studies with a specialization in an interdisciplinary approach to children’s rights.
She has been registered with the French-speaking Bar of Brussels since April 2025, and joined the Lebutte & Partners Association in March 2025 as an associate, alongside Muriel Gillet.
She practices mainly in the areas of family law, youth law, and real estate law.
She devoted her final thesis to the best interests of the child (“The child first: between the best interests of the child and/or the figure of the child king”), published in the Journal du droit des Jeunes (Sept. 2024, No. 437). She is also the author of the report “Children as human rights defenders” for the Coordination of NGOs for Children’s Rights (CODE, Dec. 2023).
She collaborates with the Legal Aid Office.
